Adrian McGarry
Driven by a work ethic that is fuelled by a natural hunger to learn, develop and improve, my work is as equally innovative as it is imaginative. In a career within the creative and publishing industries that has spanned more than 30 years, I have been extremely fortunate to work alongside and learn from talented individuals; from my early mentors to gifted collaborators on design projects. My photography and artwork have appeared in many publications, high street stores, local galleries and on the web. My work allows me to visit fantastic places and meet some amazing people.

Benefitting from an extremely varied customer base that includes blue-chip corporates, national retailers, property developers and private clients; my work remains dynamically fresh. A recipient of the Royal Photographic Society's LRPS distinction; my photography continues to evolve and win approval.

My latest work is a painstaking fusion of photography and digital creative skills to produce a seamless canvas that I like to describe as "Pixel Painted". The method involves completely repainting my photographic image, allowing me to add extra dimensions of composition and impact; in doing so I can communicate heightened imagination and emotion.

This work heralds an exciting new direction for me; working without the confines (and often frustrations) of a commercial project, where the collaboration with a client ultimately delivers their view of a finished image. It's a great period of self exploration and expression and I consider myself extremely fortunate to have the opportunity coupled with an ability to create and share moments of perpetual beauty.

I am based in the UK and live in the South Manchester/Cheshire area. I am married to Katrina, who provides a steadfast source of support, belief and motivation. I am blessed with two beautiful daughters, Hayley and Jenny, who enrich my life with pride and love.
