What To Expect From iPhone 11

With September almost here we can expect a new Apple iPhone to be revealed in just a few weeks time. Although not confirmed, it would be a shock if the new iPhone 11 was not to be shown to the world next month and the expectations are high amongst those of us who love taking photos on their iPhones.

Rumours circulating around the web indicate that the main change will be a significant camera upgrade. There is informed speculation that we'll see a triple camera system that will allow users to shoot images with a wide-angle lens. It’s also hoped that the trio of cameras will offer improved zoom and better night photography without the need for a flash.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Apple’s flagship 2019 lineup will feature three models, including 2 OLED and 1 LCD variant. The high-end devices will feature the triple rear camera system. The successor to the iPhone XR with LCD screen panel, will be upgraded from a single rear lens to a dual-camera system.

CNET report that whilst Apple will call its next flagship the iPhone 11, the names of the particular models remain uncertain. The company has traditionally reserved the "Pro" title for its highest-end products: the MacBook Pro laptop, the iPad Pro tablet, the Mac Pro desktop, so why not its most premium iPhone?

According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (as reported by 9to5Mac) the iPhone will support bilateral charging. That means you'll be able to use your iPhone's battery to share some juice with other iPhones or accessories. To accommodate two-way wireless charging, Kuo believes battery boards included in 2019 iPhones will increase in size, as will battery pack capacity.

The 2019 iPhones are likely to have upgraded A13 chips. Chip upgrades bring improved performance and efficiency, and the A13 will be no different.

If you haven’t invested in iPhone technology over the past few years then now maybe the best time to consider an upgrade. The camera system in the current iPhone XR, XS and XS Max is excellent with big improvements over 2017’s iPhone X and 8. If you own an iPhone older that the 7 then you won’t believe the difference in quality shots. The iPhone 11, with all of the latest tech from Apple, is bound to be an important advancement. Upgrading to a new phone is rarely cheap, especially from the iPhone range, but almost always worth it.

it is also worth noting that the new iPhones will ship with iOS 13 loaded, the latest version of the Apple mobile system. Expect improved Portrait Lighting Control, A new curated view of your best moments from every day, month and year and a cleaner photo library view hiding duplicate images or non-photo images by default. There will also be a redesigned editing Interface with new tools to fine‑tune your photos and videos.

iPhone 11 and iOS 13 will combine to put even more power, creativity and versatility into the hands of photographers and I can hardly wait!
